What happend to my life? I'm sure I used to have one once. I went to the supermarket the other day and it seemed so surreal, it had people and lights in it and everything.
Kidding aside, I really could do with some free time, always I am drawing or working! :explode: *looks at message center items *.... TT^TT Sooo mmany, I can't keep up anymore! I'm sorry if it seems like I'm ignoring anyone.

It's slightly old news now, but I haven't announced it to you guys yet. I'm now working on Daydream ( [link] ) which is like a subscription only softcore H manga on Drowtales. At first it was undecided as to what my role was to be - I started off doing the lineart and colouring for the Magic Girl archive, but it's now been decided that I'm just the lineartist.

Coming soon: Faith Faith is probably the simplest story I've written to date, a simple plot and only two main characters (although of course there are sub-characters). It might seem an odd choice for me to make this one into a comic then? Maybe, but I also think it's the one I'm most likely to finish.  It's going to be shounen-ai, and atm I am undecided as to whether I'm going to get it printed up in B&W to sell at conventions, or whether it's going to be a web comic. Whatever the case, it's under way now, and some artwork will soon be uploaded!

In other news: I got a manikin today! It was an early birthday present from my Gran ^_^ I'm having a few issues with it though ... I seem to be un-able to pose it correctly, the joins don't allow for full movement, for example, I can bend the elbow, but I can't make it do a salute, the wood prevents it from bending that far. It's actually the second manikin I've had, and both have had the same problem. So I'm asking you guys, if you have manikins, do they have the same problem? Is there anyway round it? Or am I stuck with only half poses?

message centre kills me all the time....I finally got fed up with it and nuked it an started all over :3 Now I only put people on that watch list who are a) friends or b) ask me to watch them for one reason or another (not just 'luff your stuff! watch me please!') which cuts down on all the messages (I had at one point a photographer who uploaded something like 20 pics a day ^^;)

*needs more time to draw*

Anyhoo very pretty artwork :) been browsing :3

BTW it's easier to get a hold of me here than Gaia...though I check Gaia about 2 or 3 times a day I tend to remember DA more often so I can clear out my messages

Hmm, I gotta get a mannequin sometime, even if you can't pose 'em in every possible position. It'd probably help me with perspective a lot.

Hey that old news is new to me. That seems quite awesome ^___^;;;

Comics are cool. I absolutely love web comics, but selling it at a convention would work just as well. I will keep on the scout for it, ai? Shonen ai... XD :dance:

Mannequins.... those things rawk! I have always wanted one.
But you say that it isn't doing salutes and stuff. >< Bleh. Oh well, at least it still helps w/ the 'visual aid'... ^^;

So either way Im looking forward this comic of yours, specially if its shounen ai! XD

Unfortunatly, unless you somehow find a rubber "gumby" mannequin, then you're going to be stuck with half poses. It sucks sometimes, but you'd be surprised just how useful it can be for simpler things like perspective.

A fun exercise with the mannequin is to put it in a pose that "looks" right, then try drawing it and fixing everything in the drawing that "looks" wrong. It really helps to improve your visual skills. =)
