Dreams of the Sky

Firesong's one of my old characters, made when I first discovered the Valdimar series, which as you may tell had a huge influence on him.

Now he keeps his name and the affiliation with hawks, but otherwise he has nothing to do witht that series.

This is Firesong as a kid, back when he was with his clan, and before the incident that gave him his fear of heights.
He's supposed to be about 11 or 12 here, but he looks about 14. Bleh, oh well; I'm not too good at illustrating age.
The hawk is called BrightStar. My god, these clan names are tacky XD But I love 'em ='D Ahh, I wish Firesong could actually have a hawk in game! ((I play him in RO as a knight, now he's older))
I really, really enjoyed making this little sketch (even is the hand on the tree looks so wrong!). I think I want to colour it!
Oh! final note! The very faint shading on the face? That's supposed to be face paint. Yay for face paint and feathers!
